It can be denied that the Samsung Galaxy S III received good response from the customers along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9-inch and 10.1-inch. So, Samsung plan to release their iterations that were scheduled to be out in the first half of 2011.
Samsung just broke records in Asia by selling the Samsung Galaxy S II over a million in South Korea within a month and 120,000 of them were sold out within three days. People said that it is reasonable as South Korea is home base of Samsung, though.
However, the president of Samsung's Mobile division, J.K. Shin, said to expect that a 4G version of the Samsung Tablet to be rolled out later this year after the launch of the 8.9 inch and 10.1 inch tabs in June. He stated that the 4G network is a must for tablets because there are more contents searched from tablet need fast internet connectivity.

I think the main Android tabs have with playing against the iPad is that Apple is the ONLY brand that makes the iPad, whereas the former has dozens of brands that are now producing tabs, all with different versions of software. And while I do support the idea of many manufacturers getting a crack at making a decent product, Android as a software platform needs to be on the same (OS) page with all of their devices if they want to continue to excel.
Recently Samsung has come up with two new samsung tablet 8.9 and 10.1, which seems to be the best android tablet pc in the market.
