ViewSonic ViewPad 7x Preview, Specs, and Release Date

ViewSonic that has been known as a computer display manufacture announced the first 7-inch Honeycomb tablet, the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x. The ViewPad 7x looks similar with other honeycomb tablets that house dual core processor and other notable features. What might be interesting is that the slate is very light at only 13.4 ounces (380 gram) and has only 7-inch display.


Here are the specs of the ViewPad 7x:
  • Powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor
  • Running Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb
  • A 7-inch LED display with a resolution of 1042 x 600 pixels
  • HSPA+ connectivity (4G option on AT&T of T-Mobile)
  • HDMI support and DLNA
  • Two cameras for front and back recording action

Release Date: There is no official announcement of its release date but some rumors said that it will hit the stores in June (rumors).

    Stopwatch; some of us will buy a stopwatch,
    that's clearly for function. These look fantastic and are priced at the fraction from the cost of a solid gold watch. Mechanical watches usually use a second hand that "sweeps" as opposed to "ticking.
